J. Burke Batten

Attorney At Law
J. Burke Batten was born and raised in Douglas, Georgia, where he was an all-state quarterback at Coffee High School before playing at the collegiate level at Bucknell University, where he earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Religion. He attended Elon University School of Law. After admission to the Georgia Bar in 2015, Burke represented clients in civil, criminal, and probate courts throughout Georgia before focusing his practice on consumer bankruptcy. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) and the Bankruptcy Law section of the State Bar of Georgia. A South Georgia native admitted to practice in both the Southern and Middle Districts of Georgia, Burke brings a regional familiarity with the courts and communities he serves.

Wendeline S. Batten

Attorney at Law
Wendeline S. Batten was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she was an avid equestrian and tennis player. She earned her B.A. in English with a Minor in Spanish from North Carolina State University before attending Elon University School of Law, where she served as Chair of the Honor Council and Vice Chair of the Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity. After admission to the Georgia Bar in 2015, she built her practice around estate planning and probate administration, and has since expanded to include bankruptcy representation for individuals and families facing financial hardship. She is a member of the Fiduciary Law and Bankruptcy Law sections of the State Bar of Georgia.
